It's not even just the rampant underfunding. It's also the funneling of that money to unaccredited charter school programs which are actively teaching counterfactual curriculum. We're speed running stupidity.
Worth noting that they may not all actually use Threads: One of Threads conditions of signing up - the specific one that made me not sign up - was that once you have a Threads account, you can NEVER get rid of it unless you delete your entire Meta/Facebook/Instagram account! 😲
When I first saw threads posts on FB that they were trying to use to hook me, it was all extreme right-wing and gun nut nonsense. I looked at the site once but it was all celebs shilling themselves. I don't get it. No surprise it is bad.
It's pretty much the same quality as here if you look in the right places. Sadly mostly completely different people on either one or the other but not both.
