This story is downplaying the problems with Starliner. They skipped the incident when about half the thrusters were stuck after the delay caused by Nauka in 2021 and didn't mention the flammable tape or weak parachute links. The explanation of the first test flight failure is pretty weak too.

I don’t think they dare send it down for re entry with humans aboard lol

I have no idea if they will. They're doing ground testing of the thrusters to see if they can reproduce the current failures. I think only one thruster is deselected and the four other failed thrusters passed some testing while docked. They have to move it to free up the forward port eventually.
