Can you imagine the magnitude of positive change JKR could have wrought if she had chosen the opposite direction?
This thought occurred to me and it makes me indescribably sad and anguished.
Imagining now, if K A Applegate and the Animorphs generation had lined up in the same manner JK/Harry Potter did, and we got her instead...
The silver lining at least, is that Applegate remains good and cool (and supports trans rights)
I just think it's a pity she didn't use her bloody fame and fortune for something properly useful - like combating climate change (and its denial), instead of hurting people who've never done her any harm.
