Should be national news but… how often does this kind of thing happen and it never makes it past local news? Unless there are protests/riots about something (or the media wants there to be) it won’t make national news.

Maybe I’m making generalizations about this kind of thing, but when a black person gets murdered by a cop, black people get rightfully angry all over the country. That makes the news. When a white woman is murdered by a cop… well, people don’t really seem to care. There’s no sense of community.
