Hipster Sasquatch: I wouldn't have classed Midsommar as horror, so much as thriller.

I don't think I know what people think a scary movie is. Like you think the monsters are going to come out of the TV in real life. You're sitting there thinking your life is in danger?

If Midsommar happened to me I would simply be a more empathetic boyfriend and still be killed in a perhaps different way.

Monster- and supernatural-based horror movies are about being worried for the characters -- or, alternately, cheering for them to eat it.

Right and the dudes in Midsommar were typical horror movie douchey. None of them had it coming like that.

I wouldn't have classed Midsommar as horror, so much as thriller.
