Proud to announce that my article "From Mobile Fleet to Mobile Force: The Evolution of U.S. Navy Logistics in the Central Pacific During World War II," published in the Journal of Military History last April, has been awarded a Vandervort Prize.
Avatar
The article traces the evolution of logistical support in the Pacific during the war and explains how (even in the US Army's estimation) joint logistics reached their "highest point" in Admiral Nimitz's theater.

The Vandervort Prize is awarded to four articles each year that represent excellence in the field of military history. It's an honor to have my work recognized in this way.

Congratulations and very well-deserved, it's an excellent article (it was the article that made me take the plunge to subscribe to join SMH, rather than just purchase one-off articles from the JMH from time-to-time).

That’s great to hear. Thank you for sharing that.
