Honestly a nerve-wracking interview. I'm a clumsy oaf when trying to navigate these things at the best of times and I was absolutely terrified in this one. Hopefully it edits into something a bit more coherent.
Ah! Yeah that'll be it. Google being too clever for its own good and me not being clever enough. It's too early to think... Anyway, the main point is that it's a great interview.
Cheers. It was kind of excruciating to go through and transcribe the raw, unedited thing, with all my awkward fumbling for words and all the little ways I could see I was irritating him, but he was a very honest and thoughtful interviewee and I think it cleans up quite nicely.
I wouldn't take it personally - I imagine the very concept of interviews irritates him. I thought they were good questions that did a great job of pulling a thread through his career and carrying it into his new record.
