Walked in to check on kittens and they were sitting together and just looked up at me. No scurrying for cover. Of course, they had their first shots and maybe that’s why they didn’t feel like moving, but I like to think they are settling. Tomorrow I have to give them all deworming pills. 😬

Hot take: I'm truly not interested in hand wringing over how much people will miss enjoying the books of men who have turned out to be abusers. I'm far more concerned about the missing art that women haven't been able to create/publish because they crossed paths with such men.

I just saw an interview with a male fantasy author where he said "I guess I haven't really written female protagonists because it's not really something I feel like I can write from a place of knowledge." Reader, this man wrote a series with a whole ass ancient dragon as their protagonist. 🙄

Esto me lleva a hablar del jurado popular. En mi ignorancia, hasta hace poco, ignoraba que en España se daba también este tipo de sistema para los juicios, que tan malos resultados da, en general, sobre todo cuando el juicio es MUY mediático. Prácticamente, los medios sentencian.

Ver el documental es descubrir que si eres mujer, fría, emprendedora y, además, no hetero-normativa (ella no se considera lesbiana, así que no la llamaré así) es correr un riesgo a nivel social. Te van a juzgar más fácil. Es descorazonador.

Quisiera hacer hincapié en esto, porque me parece LA HOSTIA de esclarecedor que haya visto recientemente 3 docuseries españolas y en las 3 el PP esté metido en el ajo, de la peor manera posible. La corrupción y la falta de escrúpulos y moral del PP es un hecho incontestable.
