I have been going to AERA since the 1990s. This is the first time I have had a submission "unrejected" in all those years.

What exactly does that mean? 😉 I'm thinking it was "we had too many excellent proposals so we couldn't accept yours 😢" at the outset, then "we had some accepted proposals cancel so now we have a spot for you, please present! 🎉"
