This is me, except I’m fixing up a 150-year-old house in Pennsylvania and I’m writing an academic book and I’m failing at both.All I want is a 100 year-old house in update New York and to spend the rest of my life fixing it up and writing mystery novels there. I think with fixing up old houses and writing both, a sense of failure is the permanent mode
