The latter. It’s been a long time since I watched it so …. But my recollection is that the only thing that’s accurate is that there was a guy named William Wallace.
I think its accuracy is best summed up be the fact that there's not so much as a ditch, let alone something requiring a bridge at the Battle of Stirling Bridge.
