Young bald eagles 95A and 88A started nest practice this past spring at The Riparian Preserve at Gilbert Water Ranch. Sadly, N95 (in the "nest") passed away a few weeks after I took this picture. She was just 5 years old and was the daughter of Bandit, our "Scottsdale eagle" & his previous mate. 😞

A few pictures of our White Pelican visitors from this past winter and spring. Riparian Preserve at Gilbert water ranch is a popular park and important wildlife and bird sanctuary. The number of bird species you may see there is amazing...From Bald eagles & ospreys to migrating warblers & waterfowl.
