Many people kinda get creeped out by bugs unless they have pretty wings. Here is one of my fav insects that is just dashing, the Gulf Fritillary butterfly.
Most of the time you can't chase a bug. They are too good at flying away, running, burrowing, hiding... But, this was my first time seeing this butterfly and wow! Orange and white striped body with those wings? I chased and it worked out.
Funny, I thought there weren’t as many orange butterflies, but yours has the same colors as this one I found while the patterns are completely different, I wonder if there are more species with similar colors… bsky.app/profile/maoc...
