Flips back on calendar: Cape Cod Times not delivered Tuesday, Thursday (not sure if they didn’t print a paper for the holiday), Friday, Saturday (we don’t a printed paper on Saturdays so that’s normal), and today Sunday. I read it online but the reason we get a hard copy is so mom can read it. 1/2
I assume there’s no delivery people available or something (everybody needs help up here), but it’s a pain when you’re paying a chunk of change for something and half the time it doesn’t even show up. 2/2
It’s a wonderful place but when money is tight or medical issues start happening, things get harder very quickly. And it’s very far away from everywhere else (at least, the Outer Cape is). I’m in Eastham; what town did your grandmother live in?
She was in Brewster for a few years at the start but then in Falmouth for at least 47.
Falmouth is MUCH better for medical because they have the hospital and easier travel up to Boston but yeah, options are slim for so many things!!
