I guess we can think of democracy as an attempt to find some better way that doesn’t need folk to hope for others to die . It’s current arrangement.. doesn’t really seem to be succeeding at that objective lately

The flaw with that is that they traint their replacements. I've seen too many young folk brain-poisoned to expect their elders dying off to be an effective solution, be it business or politics.
