That was a great segment, I was happy to learn that information. Hopefully, that dynamic will become entrenched. Gas is still over 4.50 a gallon in SW WA & a 1k rebate isn't getting me an EV.

You know there’s a $4000 tax rebate for buying a used EV? And a $7500 rebate for buying or leasing a new EV? Also, fuel-efficient hybrids exist. The Sonata does 53 mpg.
