The most important lesson for political communications is to remember how much you're trying to reach people who think about politics about 10 seconds a day. There's a lot we don't think of as insider jargon that needs to be broken down to real human terms.
As Faine notes here, the specifics help! Part of the message here has to be making Project 2025 synonymous with the elements of it that people absolutely will understand and care about!
(This is made all the more challenging because the other main audience for political communication is media, pols, activists and influencers who think about this stuff way too much, and they're the ones who primarily respond.)
