Chaotic day for the dogs, & cold for the humans. The front door has to stay open for the tiler to work on replacing the tiles in front of the doorway, so the aircon has to stay off. Mum is wrapped up in a dressing gown worn backwards.
The back verandah has had its first coating of the staining, which is now drying so the dogs can’t go outside that way. They’re blocked in without a human (me) to take them outside, and Jasper hates it.
I’ve taken them outside on a leash once today, & they weren’t into it then. The longer this goes on, the more they’ll be unhappy about not being able to go where they please in the house & backyard. But at least the things that needed fixing will be done.
