Hiis HISTORIC accomplishments are not enough, they want him to walk on water, while rubbing his belly, and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, in Latin..
He is being accused of hiding very specific impairments: inability to stay alert at night, and difficulty speaking without a script. So all he had to do was schedule nighttime town halls or live interviews and show he can think on his feet. And/or offer to take a cognitive test.
He refused both.
We just need someone who can pass a cognitive exam checking for signs of age-related decline. That's not fucking walking on water, and this is gaslighting to claim. Stop.
That already happened, years ago. He took a basic screening exam, tried to pass it off as a full workup, and we pointed and laughed and talked about how corrupt that made him. Remember? Person, woman, camera?
No but...what I"m saying is that was just a basic screening questionnaire it was not actually the kind of full workup we had asked for then and are asking for now. There's no gotcha here. All presidents should be willing to do this without question, acknowledging how important transparency is.
