Back on Twitter, I would ask myself 'Huh, I haven't seen any tweets from xyz, I wonder what happened to them?' then search their name to discover I just muted them and forgot about it.
I had a practice of muting people if they were having a bad day or something where it wasn't bad enough to unfollow. It was usually supposed to be for a day or two but ADHD is a motherfucker.
