Not trying to beat a dead horse, but NYT has allowed this to become 3 days out of date now, missing several Biden appearances. As far as I know, there have been no substantial Trump appearances in that time so the gap has likely widened. Trump's next rally is July 9, 11 days after his last one.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Biden had done more appearances since the debate than Trump? www.nytimes.com/interactive/... Well looky there, 9 Biden to 6 Trump. 5 of the 6 are (presumably friendly) interviews. Two whole days with nothing. And this is as of yesterday.

Only unscripted events at night can prove that he can do unscripted events at night. The thing he's accused of having become incapable of doing.

Maybe so, but I still think it's significant that Biden is out there actively campaigning in a way Trump simply is not. And frankly, the vast majority of campaigning is scripted.

Fair enough, I agree he should do something like that. I remember being impressed by a 2020 Biden town hall, in large part because he has such a reputation for flubbing!
