When discussing how evangelicals want to ban pornography it should be remembered that Kirk Cameron harassed producers of Growing Pains into quitting the show by accusing them of being pornographers for wanting to put more adult themes in the show.
Their definition of pornography is wide.
It’s not gonna just be porn as you understand it. We already know they think the very mention of queerness counts as porn, but it’s not going to stop there. Anything they view as potentially causing thoughts that go against the Bible and God is, in their view, pornography.
