It does—though I want to take pains to point out that being aware of the problem, and being convicted that something better is not only possible but expected, and then expressing that conviction publicly, is a foundational part of any solution. Too often we disparage those steps as "useless talk."
Does the book offer a solution, something actionable?

The compass sets the course. The course determines the navigation. The navigation guides the journey. The steps to get where we're going must be taken. The plan must be made before we do. But before we move, we must decide to move. If we are to move, we must first set the compass.

I think the biggest problem we face isn't actually the practical steps. I think it's the collective determination to take those steps, because we know that those steps carry cost, and too many of us (including all too often me), would rather avoid cost. We must speak our determination.
