Update 2: evaluation today shows I'm healing a bit slower than they'd like so I am going to have to wait on cardiac rehab until after the next evaluation on Tuesday. Four weeks of inpatient rehab is going to cost a fortune, because insurance is stupid and considers it physical therapy which...

And ignore my spelling....pain meds, weak shaky hands, breathing mask and phone are not great mix

Update 1: surgety got moved up to Tuesday and it went largely wirhout complications. In icu for few days ans am extremely sore and in pain. Finally off the full face non invasive ventilator mask and on a much snaller mask. Very exhausted and a lot of cardiac rehab ahead of me. Two months minimum.

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart of all the help in getting me to the needed goal for surgery. It is now scheduled for Thursday (fret anx). I really cannot express enough how grateful I am and how amazing all of you are.

I am in need of immediate surgery due to an aortic root aneurysm that has reached 6 cm in size. Insurance will cover the major bulk but I am left with a steep copay amount. I hate asking but I do need help on this. (more details to follow in the replies ko-fi.com/karhyena
