Just moved into a new house and trying to make lively and cozy-feeling rooms for our four year-old and forthcoming baby has meant wading through an ocean of grimly desaturated bullshit like this. All of it guaranteed to instantly become visibly and irreversibly stained, scuffed or marked up
I hate this shit so much, the one room I hate the most in the house I currently rent has late 90s magnolia paint on every one of its walls and it makes me feel like the colour is being drained out of me when I'm in there.
*gradually* adding colours but it's such an uphill struggle
Do these people have something against colors that aren't beige??? D=
I say this as someone who has white walls but at least my room has objects in a rainbow of colors!
yeah i honestly prefer white (or like off-white/pale yellow) walls myself, i feel like i'm always looking to brighten and lighten up my spaces living in the pnw haha. but who could LIVE in this single skin tone
