I really love beets. SO GOOD. I am stained purple and very pleased - steamed beets, butter, salt and pepper, simple and amazing 🧈🧂 I tried making a small batch of pickled beets. My friend and I ate them all before we could can them. 💀😅 omg I love them pickled mmmmmm I use Julia Child's recipe and I love them Please share your recipes.
I just toss them in EVOO with a few herbs and roast them. I'd love to try something new. Grated! I like that idea.
I wonder if my grater attachment will stain. Doesn't matter. These will be worth it. "A little bleach will immediately remove stains from boards and utensils." Have to give them another try. That does sound good! I love beets. I remember gorging myself on them as a kid, then having the fright of my life using the bathroom the next day. ♥️ I've tried to like beets. There's just too much 'mud and dirt' notes. They’re very good with goat cheese and balsamic. Make sure they’re washed well and peeled and they shouldn’t taste like dirt.
