One of my all-time favorite Spider-Man stories. “Unscheduled Stop” by Mark Waid and Marcos Martin. A two issue story that perfectly captures what’s great about Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

Comic friends—help me solve a mystery! When I was in elementary school in the 90s I bought a comic that came with this Iron Man promo acetate cel sheet from the cartoon. Apparently it was an SDCC exclusive they must’ve packed in with an issue afterwards. Anyone know the comic?

Come on people, social media didn’t make kids bad at reading comprehension. That frames the unacceptable as inevitable. Mass disinvestment from humanities education, from teaching nuance, critique, and deliberation did. Policy is the problem and policy is the solution. Eyes on the prize.

I bought Scrivener this week for a novel I’m writing. I never understood the hype, but after a couple of days, I’m a big fan.
