Have complicated feelings about it!
I do not think you will appreciate "MaXXXine" at ALL without seeing "X." Like, you would be doing yourself a disservice. But at the same time, I think the currently-out films play better chronologically ("Pearl," then "X") than in release order!
I could see that. I haven't seen Pearl yet (I only recently just saw X), but the reveal of Pearl doesn't really feel like a twist or anything, so watching the first two in either order wouldn't necessarily hurt, but it makes the threat of Pearl make more sense...right?
