I wish I were super into some sort of digital or online game. Today would be a fantastic day to gather some snacks, pull down the shades, point a fan at my ugly giant bag of mostly water, and wander some mystical lands for runes or magic swords or something.
I tried WoW a decade ago and enjoyed it at first. But I quickly realized it never evolves beyond killing stuff. Like, I was waiting for the epic quests and puzzles and multi-part challenges. Nope, just kill things, take their stuff, get progressively skimpier outfits.
So then I played it as a pacifist, just to see how far I could get. Not far. But it was fun running around and attempting the To All The Squirrels I've Loved Before achievement. Still, not fun enough to bother doing it again.
