do you design your playlists to be played in order or shuffled?

I have a big playlist called "Sing Along" and it's just songs I know most of the lyrics to and I want it extremely shuffled. I hate if two songs from the same source come on one after the other.

I only have two that have an intended play order: (1) a kludgy aggregation of Spotify's instances of the soundtrack to a musical from Hungary and (2) that one I was putting together with my ex but removed them and made it more about them than it already was

In order if I’m actually curating one for someone/an event, otherwise I just chuck a bunch of stuff in & see what comes up. Though I’m old enough that I used to do it on tapes, so they were very much designed to play in order

I generally design them for shuffle but I am more inclined to experiment now so I expect some linear or loop playlists in the future.

depends. just for me? shuffled. if i have an agenda about it though, i like to make an order :)

i just grab a bunch of songs and throw them in a playlist to shuffle it
