There is the world of "is," and the world of "should be." And since he showed up, Donald Trump taught Americans to live in the world of "is."

The president should be allowed to fill a vacant Supreme Court seat, but he couldn't. The person who gets the most votes should be the winner, but she wasn't. The losing candidate should concede peacefully, but he didn't.

But the thing about living in the world of "is" is, if thing stop going your way, you don't just get to go back to the world of "should be."
