When you want a tattoo from a local artist with a lil bit of color, but you black and every certified tattoo technician in your area and within an hours drive be like “yeahh 😬 no” really!? I just want a blossoming Bosom with Magnolias and Butterflies. I even have an art reference for what I want.😭
It really sucks that a lot of Tatt artists don’t bother learning to work on darker skin (at the very least when it comes to color) from my limited observations the industry also seems overwhelmingly white,
Yeahhhh, this is a journey. Think I finally found an artist snd she pulled all the melanated skin samples and I got excited with her portfolio and we set a consultation date to plan next steps, Now we wait till April.
