LOOK AT THIS BIRD
Mollymawks of the Auckland Islands are so cute.
Unfortunately they're easy to catch as they haven't evolved around humans.
In better news, they're protected now, on these islands at least.
My teenager said, "You keep gawking at that bird."
It is true. I do keep gawking at the bird. I even worked out where it was sitting on that day in the 1990s, for a photograph which is only available these days via Wayback Machine.
