Diving further into the Gordon Ramsey Cinematic Universe with Hotel Hell. I’m liking it better than Kitchen Nightmares because the people are deranged in a more entertaining and less traumatic way

I’m now addicted to googling these people and seeing what horrors they got up to later

Love both. Hotel Hell allows for the fun of black light reveals. And piling a bunch of guests in a room to chew out the owner.

Piling the guests in the room is such a good conceit. And they seriously found the worst people alive for season 1. The first couple moved to Florida where 1 spent a week in jail until the other posted bail, the next owner got a job at Gitmo, and the third is an Elon Musk twitter fanboy

Jesus. I haven’t checked into where any of them are now. Too grim.

Kitchen Nightmares is too grim for me. But failed hotel proprietors apparently are darkly funny to me

Apologies to Gordon for misspelling his last name. I should’ve checked before posting. You should be able to expect more journalistic integrity than that from the Midly brand.

Have you seen the episode with the gay couple that lives in an RV next to their hotel and larps being Society

And his antique collection is actually just reproductions and garbage no reputable auction house would touch!!

it’s better bc of the ramsey nudity

also no one on kitchen nightmares managed guantanamo bay

For real! They start off strong with the villains

It also feels less chaotically edited than US Kitchen Nightmares but that may just be because it didn't have as many seasons to formulize it and hack away everything that was interesting about it

The Towns Inn two-parter is truly wild

Oooh. Can’t wait! And I think you’re describing exactly what I like about the show. The pace is reasonable and it showcases the lunatics and their impact rather than just a bunch of sad people screaming in a filthy kitchen
