Someone please explain to me how the "I hate you, you hate me, let's team up and kill Barney" song has persisted amongst upper elementary school kids, despite the show Barney & Friends being off air for over a decade and none of these kids have ever seen an episode.
do you ever think about how those songs, and many trends, stories, etc. spread for years and years across the country *before* the internet and social media?
