this is great news! did the petition play a role? (it wasn’t clear in the announcement on the university site, and I assumed they’re not admitting it, which is why I ask :))

In 2021, a faculty-only committee acknowledged the petition and found that further investigation was needed regarding concerns related to accessibility, discrimination, privacy, and financial inequity. But in the end? I don't know. www.colorado.edu/bfa/sites/de...

the petition and student concerns had to have played a role! it seems they’re letting people continue use it for online stuff as needed, but are not supporting it at the institutional level. so glad to see this, either way. (hope you’re doing ok!)

Thanks! I’m just glad they’re removing the integration from the LMS and destroying thousands of hours of recordings. Proctorio needs an LMS to function.

Excellent point. While it's nice the university is doing the right thing, it would be much more effective a stand if they actually explained so.
