And our vet happily plies my standard poodle with all the Xanax she could ever want while I white-knuckle it through panic attack after panic attack for decades bc apparently drugs that help people are bad.

I think the real message here is not that our doctors need to be more like our vets, but that we need to be more like our dogs.

Clearly you need to work on being a better boy.
