Aw heck misread that as FEMA and was expecting a completely different sort of deep-dive.
I mean, still an interesting topic! But I often quietly long for someone really geeking out about the practicalities of certain less-obviously-political parts of the government.
There's a guy on youtube putting out videos under he name "practical engineering." He sometimes talks about how regulations & regulators work (or don't) & issues of distribution & safety & other interesting governance things. He also builds a lot of models in his garage.
