One of the more pleasant cinematic surprises of recent years is this franchise getting a reboot that not only worked, but committed to being an apocalypse that had no room for bullshit uplift.
I loved the new trilogy coming from someone who has a soft spot for the old movies. I am disappointed they never did anythinf with the tease in Dawn of the Icarus launching in the news: I always figured that was gonna get revisited down the line.
