I was in the emergency department with my mom all of June 10 evening — she had complications after a planned surgery that required emergency care — and then I was basically comatose all of June 11, so I am only just now learning about the protests that took place outside the Nova Festival memorial.
It’s just depressing to see people who I genuinely believe are well intentioned and want peace and liberation directing their energies towards harass people who are mourning the deaths of young people who wanted to go to a party.
The so called “pro-Palestinians” supporters were been taken over by antisemites. The only hope I get now is from movements like “standing-together” Israelis and Palestinians who aspire for peace side by side.
