I sincerely doubt that he’s unhappy - this is the exact outcome I predicted and if I am smarter than Macron then I dont know what to say If he thought he could eek out another center majority then he must’ve been high on his own supply

you may be right! one of my priors is ‘never underestimate how much the technocrats believe in themselves’ but it’s not a perfectly predictive rule
