After 2.5 years in Oakland, I gotta say… you really get an appreciation for Muni. I would give anything for AC Transit to have the same headways or reliability.
It’s almost infuriating how easy taking the Blue Line from O’Hare is.
- no weird sky trains
- pay with your phone
- 15 minute headways
- clear platform signage
No one disputes that the crimes were bad! Killing random civilians is indefensible.
... Which is why it's indefensible to kill a bunch of civilians in response! Extremely basic principles deliberately elided by people who make arguments for a living.
Unexpected transit journey this week: taking Brightline. Some of the touted amenities (lounge, bar) are definitely popular, market hall and other restaurants aren’t open on a Friday night. Hoping this beats driving I-95 (and is safer).
