I can’t trust Texas fuckery so I don’t risk mail-in. When I showed up to vote in last spring primary as a rare Dem in deep red Montgomery county, I was told I needed to prove my residency even though my voter ID & TX DL showed same address I have lived 11 yrs. I “questioned” loudly—they backed off.

They need it for their elderly voters who usually have a decent turnout. Making it very hard could disenfranchise some of their most important voters.

I'll vote in person but voting by mail is great for many people!! It's un-American that the GOP is trying to trying to make it harder to vote by mail.
