One of the reasons I've been pushing the Project 2025 Alarm button so damn much, recently. We need to spread that message everywhere. Yam Tits and the GOP have gifted us with their own kryptonite. We need to weaponize it. Project 2025 is evil and people will vote AGAINST it. Get the word out!
Here we see a right wing Twitter account with 1.3 million followers being retweeted by an account with 2.5 million followers calling for conservatives to sabotage the upcoming American election. Musk, BTW, has interacted amicably with these accounts several times.

As the pandemic continues to rage, Trump announces the United States is withdrawing from the World Health Organization. Candidate Joe Biden promises to immediately reverse this if elected. (He did, in his first hours in office.)
A CHILD MOLESTER has won the Republican nomination for president for the third time in a row, and the media says he won the debate so the other guy— the incumbent POTUS — should drop out.
It appears that the solidarity shown by the non-fascist parties in France has led to the defeat, at least for today, of the fascists.
Specifically, left & center coordinated to support the candidate most likely to defeat the fascists in hundreds of constituencies.
There’s a lesson to be learned.
Kyle Griffin: "While speaking to staff and volunteers at a campaign office in Philadelphia, a woman shouts to President Biden, "we need dark Brandon back."
Biden responds: "Dark Brandon is coming back.""
In FCI Danbury, Steve Bannon sobs hysterically because the far right surge, that he thought he’d helped orchestrate, crashed in ignominy.
Happy days! 😁
BREAKING NEWS: Voters turned out in numbers not seen in decades to stop the far-right National Rally from taking power in the French National Assembly. Polls predicted a first-place finish for National Rally, which instead came in third in initial results as polling stations closed.
If you think the Heritage Foundation wants Biden to stay in because they think he’ll lose, you’re missing the point. If he tries to drop out, it will be playing right into their hands. The right will take that golden opportunity to turn the election into even more of a gigantic shitshow.

How do we adjust to a world where major democracies have long-term viable fascist parties? It feels like we'll just be having existential election after existential election, and we have to win every time whereas they only have to win once.
Stephen Miller now following Trump's lead and saying he has nothing to do with Project 2025.
1. His organization is on the Project 2025 advisory board.
2. He recorded a video as part of Project 2025 training tools
3. You can see Mandate for Leadership, the Project 2025 publication in the background
Only guys like Peter Meijer or Mitt Romney have the cash to pay for private security to protect against the MAGA mob Trump serially sics on his opponents.
And even they gave in.
A very important point from @emptywheel.bsky.social : We're all Don Bacon's wife.
The French left formed a coalition in THREE WEEKS and basically made every pundit look like clowns and rendered the polling almost meaningless.
It is possible.
Breaking: A left-wing coalition is on course to win the most seats in France’s legislative election in a surprise blow to far-right leader Marine Le Pen’s hopes of forming the next government

This delicious little bit of schadenfreude can be ours too if we work our asses off between now and November to bury Donald Trump and his fascist political party

Please note the wildly incorrect polling in France. No matter what the cacophony of pundits keep saying, polls are not predictive, and are never the end of the story. Organizing, volunteering, engaging in conversation, and direct action are effective tools. Let's use them here too.

the “some folks just need killing” thing out of north carolina reminds me of a third thing these annoying people are right about: as long as the republican bloodlust grows and their power is unbroken, every election probably will be the most important one of your life
sometimes the most annoying people in politics can be right. the orange man is indeed bad. if you vote, you shouldn’t vote for republicans under any circumstances, which typically leaves one option
this is the point I keep making and I don’t want to be making it but it’s correct
no matter how much the opposition sucks and how much this feels like the same old uninspiring message, the danger of letting Republicans hold power is getting worse
they are bad and must be defeated every time

I've been telling my students to think very carefully about this messaging. Why is it that these outlets are only talking at length about Biden's age and not the other guy, who is not that much younger and has as many so-called "symptoms" of cognitive issues as there are for Biden. Feels suss.
Yeah the rich are really putting pressure on him to drop out, not just her...but you can tell they're funding a ton of op-ed stories being published in places like the New Yorker, etc all saying the same thing- he should drop out. Come on, it's very obvious what they are trying to do
