I grew up the son of immigrants who each survived a genocidal tyrant before arriving in America. Their experiences made them supporters of Reagan, whose crusade against despotism stands in sharp contrast to Trump, who has embraced a fascist regime in Moscow that seeks to exterminate Ukraine.
