Realised at some point that the relative lack of seasonality in US produce was a bit of a dog that didn't bark in the night when you lived in a place where it snowed. (Also never knew how good lettuce tasted until a trip home)

NZ lettuce is great! The two-week long berry season is less conducive to pie baking..... Hahha Californian produce though is a point of envy for everybody, bucking the trend of some US states.....
