Space aliens disguising themselves as game devs and naming their studio be like

one thing i think got lost in the shuffle with discussion of the latest jojolands is how moe howard moved on from curly and larry to become a very cold bank worker the way he makes you pay debts is by poking you in the eyes over and over until you pay back your loan

a weird moment where it took me to see a spriter's resource comment to fully realize how absurd a character's name was and it just made me laugh really hard

i remembered that pitchfork over/under series (they ask musicians if stuff is over/underrated) and most of my takeaway was 1) todd rundgren somehow mishearing 'alien abductions' as 'aryan aggression' 2) how the hell did genesis p-orridge have a strong opinion about action bronson

one more note on masters fighter kang has a hopkick loop so straightforward that when i put the game on with my mom as a laugh, she figured out how to do it within 60 seconds she'll play literally any fighting game you throw in front of her, because unlike a lot of the fgc at large, she understands

talked about it before but godheadSilo was so funny because they have a HORRIFICALLY bass-heavy sound for a two-piece band (to the point where the band hurt *themselves* playing their stuff) and the songs all have titles like - Nuts to You - Relationshit - Birthday Sandwich - I Love U...Nicorns
