I think one of the most unsettling things about this iteration of the Joker is how little we know about him. He has no origin story and gives a different version of his past every time he speaks about it. So it’s even harder to imagine what makes him tick. #TheDarkKnight

Rewatching The Dark Knight, and my goodness, Heath Ledger’s depiction of the Joker is just as mesmerising (and genuinely chilling) as it was when I saw this in the cinema. Still one of my fave superhero movies of all time.

Sooo last night I dreamt I was writing a grimdark novel called Foul Things. All I remember apart from the title is it was set in a smoky city. I had the entire plot figured out and it was going to be AMAZING. I think it featured Sharon from EastEnders as a vengeful assassin.
