Realized after 15 years that “American Analog Set” and “All American Rejects” are two separate bands and not the same band. Which now makes sense as to why I always think those two bands sound differently every time I hear them. I’m firmly team “American Analog Set” now that I know the difference
All American Rejects just played Tahoe at some early 2000’s emo fest a couple weeks ago. I know this because my coworker who is early 30’s went and got fully decked out like a 16 year old in 2006 that was into that scene. That was one of the two bands she was most hyped for.
I’m pretty sure they were just hear at a festival recently because I saw a picture of them and that’s when I started to think that those guys don’t look like they’d make the music the other guys make.
