Donald Trump's July 11 sentencing in New York almost certainly will be adjourned, after DA's office filed a letter this morning consenting to adjournment to allow briefing on the issues raised by Trump based upon yesterday's SCOTUS decision on Presidential immunity. www.law360.com/articles/185...

I do t get this at all. Aren’t the issues in the NY case (fraudulent business records) the DEFINITION of non-presidential / official acts?

1. Some of the evidence that was admitted might fall afoul of the Supreme Court's rules against using "official acts". 2. All of the fraudulent checks and entries were created after 1/21/2021. 3. I do not think that Trump's arguments are likely to win, but we will see.

We're in the worst timeline, I have a sinking suspicion that not only will the conviction be annulled but somehow Alvin Bragg and Judge Merchan are going to wake up in Guantanamo Bay.

The more that rational intelligent well-informed people tell me they don't think Trump's arguments will win, the more dread I feel about how this arrogant conflicted corrupt court will manufacture its desired outcome out of tortured and cherry-picked history and tradition.

I believe they can argue that some of the evidence allowed in at the trial would no longer be allowed after the new ruling. So the trial may have been "tainted." I don't agree with SCOTUS, but it may be an implication of their ruling.
